The Skin:
Start with a clean, freshly moisturized face.
Blend primer with brush from the center of the face out. Even out tone but do not mask it. The look is glowing and transparent. (Add foundation only if and where coverage is needed)
blend darker bronze powder with contour brush over the cheekbones, across forehead, down nose and across chin. In all other places, blend in the gold highlight powder. This creates nuance and the appearance of natural color rather than a solid face of fake bronze.
The Lips:
Line lips softly and apply lipstick. Blot and apply gloss in the center of lips blending softly outwards.
The Eyes:
See "Recipe for Wow Brows"
Softly sweep lighter bronze eyeshadow over whole eye.
Brush the darker bronze eyeshadow on lid only from outer corner to just past center of eye. Both of the last two shadows need to be applied softly with a watercolor effect in mind. Let the cross section of colors in the center of the eye create their own new third color.
Apply waterproof eyeliner along entire upper eyeline from the inner corner to the outer edge following lash bed. Optional: Apply a different color waterproof liner lightly between lower lashes.
Apply waterproof mascara in long clean strokes accentuating length. Avoid clumping by using an eyelash comb. Clean up under eye with concealer using a concealer brush.
Cheeks:
Apply cheek tint or stick with fingers or foundation brush on the apple of your cheek blending half way back on cheekbone and also slightly down and back from the apple to create a flushed, apres-ski look.
Brush bronzing powders once more if needed.
