The Skin:
Start with a clean, freshly moisturized face.
Blend foundation Even out tone but do not mask it. Reapply in areas of discoloration to create an overall neutral tone to your skin.
Brush on translucent powder if needed.
The Lips:
Line lips accentuating the center bow of the mouth. Soften inner lip line with lip brush.
Apply lipstick color with brush blending color into lip so that color appears to stain the lips. Blot and reapply.
The Eyes:
See "Recipe for Wow Brows".
Prep eye with a concealer/eyeshadow base over whole lid.
For eyeshadow, first dust your entire eye with the lightest color. Next place the middle color on the ball of the eye(from lash bed up to crease and from outer to inner corner. Thirdly use the darkest shadow with a cone shaped contour brush from the outer corner of the eye in. Follow the deepest part of the groove between the lid and the brow bone. Blend no more than halfway in across the crease.
Apply mascara in long clean strokes accentuating length. Avoid clumping by using an eyelash comb.
Clean up under eye with concealer using a concealer brush.
Cheeks:
Brush blush on the apple of the cheekbone and gently back along the bone. For those wishing more cheekbone, brush a darker neutral blush from the ear towards your nose on the under side of the cheekbone. Keep blush soft.
Brush powder once more. |
